Gurren Lagann

My friends convinced me to watch the anime, Tengen Toppa: Gurren Lagann and I must say, it's one of the best of some of the animus I've ever watched.

The story and terminology is deep and incredible, you'll notice the loveable characters develop as the story goes on (the main character, Simon especially!) with an epic final battle to boot. The mechas are epic and hell, you don't even have to be a fan of mecha-anime to enjoy this one.

And here is my tribute to it, Gurren Lagann with his finishing move, GIGA DRILL BRREEEEAAAAAAAAAK!!!!

I surprised myself making this piece, and didn't expect to be so satisfied about it either! Definitely one of my better works.

Done entirely on photoshop, roughly 6 hours.
